CRYO: Latin/Greek for icy cold or freezing. Cryotherapy has many applications, from therapeutic to aesthetic. Different cryotherapy treatments utilize a range of different temperatures.

Cryotherapy has been gaining popularity as a health and wellness treatment for a range of conditions, from muscle aches to wrinkle reduction.

Cryotherapy for therapeutic applications is generally a cold therapy that involves exposing the body to temperatures of -140°C to -170°C. Lasers or a cold walk-in chamber are usually what you will experience for these temperatures.

At Forma, however, we are focused on aesthetic cryotherapy applications. We use the Pagani Cryo T-Shock at temperatures around 0°C for purposes of fat freezing, cellulite reduction and skin rejuvenation.

The cold temperatures of cryotherapy will help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as redness and inflammation.

At Forma, we are committed to the aesthetic benefits of cryotherapy... namely, what we call 'targeted cryotherapy' ... We enjoy educating our clients of this understanding of what cryotherapy entails to inform our results-oriented approach.
