What is nonsurgical liposuction?

How does nonsurgical liposuction work?

The nonsurgical liposuction at Forma Cryo Body Aesthetics freezes away fat cells. When applied to the surface of the skin, extremely cold temperatures don’t allow fat cells to survive. Your body then naturally flushes the dead cells and any waste through your lymphatic system. 

Fat cells are more susceptible to cold temperatures than other tissue cells. Therefore, nonsurgical liposuction causes no damage to surrounding tissue, including your skin’s surface and muscles. The procedure is pain-free and requires no anesthesia or long recovery time. 

Many people benefit from a series of sessions. Your technician will customize a treatment plan that gets you the results you want. 

What happens during nonsurgical liposuction ("fat freezing")?

Your technician will assess with you the areas where you would like treatment. They will then apply a gel and use a targeted cryotherapy wand to the areas. 

You will feel an alternating cold and warm temperatures from the wand, which will facilitate the fat loss. Our clients say the sessions are most often very relaxing!  

Do I need to schedule downtime after nonsurgical liposuction?

You have no activity restrictions following nonsurgical liposuction. You can return to work, do daily chores, and exercise right away. You may have some mild redness or swelling in the treated areas, but these side effects resolve within 24 hours.
